We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the very first Professional Assessment Conference (TPAC), co-hosted by our team at Eintech and Peridot Partners. Held on 24th September 2025 at Mary Ward House in London, the event brought together assessment professionals from across the country to share experiences, exchange ideas, and tackle some of the most pressing challenges in our sector.
From the outset, TPAC was designed to provide a dedicated space for membership organisations and non-regulated assessment providers to engage in honest, practical discussion. Judging by the energy in the room and the depth of debate, we’re proud to say that aim was well and truly met, and the feedback so far from delegates has been fantastic.
Key Themes and Discussions
The day’s sessions covered a wide range of timely and relevant topics, including:
- What a reasonable adjustment really means in practice.
- Tackling the recruitment challenges of assessors and examiners.
- Honest reflections on how remote assessments are working.
- The growing role of AI in assessment – should it be a priority?
- The real cost of ensuring assessment quality processes.
Looking Ahead
As this was the first ever TPAC, we are especially proud of the warm reception and the appetite for more. It was clear from both the speakers and delegates that there is a need for an ongoing forum to explore challenges, share innovation, and strengthen practice across the assessment community.
This is just the beginning. We are already considering how to make the next TPAC even more impactful, and we look forward to building on the momentum created this year.
